DAY BY DAY
What we cover.
DAY 1
Foundations & cutting
Studio safety, tool overview, understanding donor bottles. Hands-on diamond-wheel cutting practice on 8–10 different bottle types. By end of day: every participant has cleanly cut several bottles.
DAY 2
Finishing & assembly
Edge grinding, chamfering, three-stage polishing. Adding hardware — lamp fittings, mounting bases, planter waterproofing. Everyone finishes a personal piece to take home.
DAY 3
Painting, glazing & business
Water-based glazing, hand-painting, decorative treatments. Afternoon business session: sourcing, pricing, packaging, sales channels. Portfolio review of participants’ own project ideas.

No. The masterclass is designed for complete beginners. Some basic comfort with hands-on craft helps but is not required. What matters more is your interest in learning and willingness to practice.

Yes — that’s specifically what the Day 3 business session is designed for. We share our own learnings on sourcing, pricing, packaging, and sales channels. Several past participants have gone on to launch their own upcycling ventures.
You’ll finish 3–5 personal pieces during the masterclass (typically 1–2 lamps, a planter, and some drinkware). Plus a written skill-summary guide and a curated list of tool/material suppliers in India.
